Charlie Palmer

Clinical Psychologist Registrar

(She/her)

Currently accepting new clients.

Charlie is a warm, down-to-earth Clinical Psychology Registrar who values real, human connection in therapy. She begins by creating a safe space built on trust and clarity, working collaboratively with clients to identify therapeutic goals that reflect their unique experiences.

Charlie has a particular interest in supporting adults experiencing stress, burnout and emotional overwhelm. Many of her clients are used to managing life’s demands, yet find themselves feeling exhausted, disconnected, or caught in patterns of behaviour that no longer serve them. This can lead to changes in mood, difficulty regulating emotions, loss of motivation, strained relationships, or a sense of losing sight of who they are and what is important to them.

With over ten years of experience working in mental health, Charlie supports clients to slow things down and better understand what is happening beneath the surface. Her approach is trauma-informed and neuro-affirming, with a strong focus on nervous system regulation. Together, therapy may involve developing insight into recurring patterns, learning to recognise the body’s signals, building confidence to communicate needs and maintain healthy boundaries, and strengthening the skills needed to regulate emotions outside of sessions.

Charlie works collaboratively with clients to feel more grounded within themselves, more connected in their relationships, and able to move forward with greater intention, balance and self-understanding.
