What we can’t help with
While we do offer a wide range of services for many different types of concerns and mental health issues people in the community are struggling with, there are some things that we are unable to help with. These include the following:
Eating Disorders
If you are seeking help for an eating disorder such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder or other, here is where you can go:
Psychosis
If you are experiencing psychosis and feeling disconnected from reality, there are services available elsewhere for you:
Drugs & Alcohol as main concern
The Psycholgists at Breathe Psychology are able to assist clients who have experienced a tauma and may have turned to drugs and alcohol as a means of coping.
However, if your main concern that you are seeking help for is addiction and you require drug and alcohol treatment services, there are other services abailable elsewhere that may help.
People under the age of 16 years
Unfortunately at Breathe Psychology we do not currently treat clients who are under the age of 16 years.
If you are looking for some support, there are a range of services available that may help you to understand what is going on for you and where you can go to for professional help. Some include:
Bulk Billing
Breathe Psychology is a private psychology practice, so there are out-of-pocket expenses for the services we offer.
If you are looking for bulk billing psychologists or community mental health services, head to the Barwon Health website listed below for more information.
If you require emergency assistance please call 000 or a relevant mental health support service, such as Lifeline on 13 11 14 or one of the below:
